Daily Prayer Team (Monday-Friday, August 4-8; 11:30am daily)
Join Carol Allen daily at 11:30am for a prayer conference call (via phone). This team will pray for daily projects, safety, and for opportunities to share the gospel with those whom we are serving. Call-in instructions will be emailed.

We will provide lunch to the teachers and staff of Revolution Academy on Monday, August 4.

M2535 Outreach (Monday, August 4)
M2535 (Matthew 25:35) is our monthly ministry to those in need in the Greensboro area. Each month, we prepare and deliver meals in downtown Greensboro. We have two opportunities to serve with this project. The "food prep team" will assist in packaging over 200 meals in our church kitchen. This team is open to anyone of any age. The "food delivery team" will gather in downtown Greensboro to distribute meals and pray with folks there. For safety reasons, the food delivery team is open to adults ages 18 and up.

Summerfield Elementary School Project (Monday-Friday, August 4-8; 4:30pm - 7:30pm daily)
We will serve Summerfield Elementary by painting a hallway in one of their classroom buildings. We will also do some special murals on the wall after the full hallway painting. This project is open to anyone with interest in participating.

Fire Department Appreciation Dinner (Monday, August 4)
We will host a cookout at the Summerfield Fire Department, Station 9, located on Summerfield Road, on Monday, August 4. This will be an event for the fire department staff and their families.
We will need volunteers to help setup at 4pm and serve at 6pm.

Tabitha's Housework (Tuesday - Thursday, August 5-7; 5:00pm daily)
Tabitha's Ministry provides help for women desiring to be free from painful backgrounds, such as addiction, prison, homelessness, abuse, or neglect. This project will include landscaping projects including removing a downed tree, cleaning carpet inside one of the Tabitha's Ministry houses, and other projects.
Volunteer Capacity: 15 people each night (Tuesday - Thursday)

Teacher Encouragement/Appreciation Bags (Tuesday, August 5 at 6:00pm)
We will prepare and deliver teacher appreciation and encouragement gift bags to over 300 teachers in our community and surrounding areas. This project is open to volunteers of any age.

Blood Drive (Wednesday, August 6; 2pm-6:30pm)
In partnership with American Red Cross, we will host a blood drive on Wednesday, August 6 from 2pm until 6:30pm. We will need volunteers to assist with registration and snacks throughout the afternoon.

Hymn Sing at Countryside Assisted Living Center (Thursday, August 7; 10:30am-11:30am)
Join Pastor Josh for a "Hymn Sing" at Countryside Assisted Living Center in Stokesdale on Thursday, August 7 from 10:30am until 11:30am. This project will certainly encourage Countryside residents as they sing beloved hymns to the Lord. This project is open to anyone of any age.

Revolution Academy Outdoor Projects (Thursday, August 7; 5:00pm)
We will repair some picnic tables in the outside seating area and do some light landscape work of distributing mulch. Electric tools will be used in their project for repair of picnic tables.

Countryside Assisted Living Center Birthday Party (Friday, August 8; 2:00pm; First Kids Project)

Our First Kids Ministry will host a "Big Birthday Party" for residents at Countryside Assisted Living Center in Stokesdale. Residents having a birthday in the month of August will be brought together for a fun time of bingo, music, and cupcakes! This project is open to First Kids & their families.

Tabitha's House Painting (Friday - Saturday, August 8-9)
Tabitha's Ministry provides help for women desiring to be free from painful backgrounds, such as addiction, prison, homelessness, abuse, or neglect. We will be patching bedroom walls and prepping the project on Thursday evening and painting three bedrooms on Saturday.
Volunteer Capacity: 6 people each day (Friday at 5:00pm & Saturday at 8:00am)
