Our mission is to teach children to meet Jesus, love God, and serve others. Our desire is to minister to your child in a safe and loving environment. We screen our volunteers and do a criminal background check on them because we understand that you as a parent cannot worship if you feel uncomfortable about leaving your child in our care. We strive to do as much as possible to keep your children safe in a secure environment, while teaching them about Jesus and His plans for their lives in a meaningful way.
Sunday School
This is a chance to build a Biblical foundation and foster a Christian worldview through Bible lessons, crafts, and activities. We offer age graded classes on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM.
Sunday Morning Children’s Worship
On Sunday’s at 10:30 AM, we utilize The Gospel Project and a message from God’s Word to impact the lives of children.
Sunday Evenings (September to May; 5:30pm-6:30pm)
On Sunday evenings, First Kids offers the Truth & Grace curriculum from Foundations Press for kids K-5th grade. We look at a historic Baptist catechism called A Catechism for Boys and Girls. There is a Bible discussion that strengthens children's love for God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. Our preschool ministry uses Answers in Genesis curriculum.
Wednesday Evenings (September to May; 6:15pm - 7:30pm; Drop-off begins at 6pm in the CLC)
KIDS4TRUTH
Kids4Truth offers two key things that we were looking for to help teach and guide our kids. First, Kids4Truth offers a coordinated and streamlined curriculum. This means that every kid involved with Kids4Truth will be studying and memorizing the same topics, concepts, and Bible verses each week.
Second, Kids4Truth offers a robust doctrinal structure. The curriculum is comprised of 12 doctrinal truths, each with 10 weeks’ worth of material. Each week's material is designed around a question-and-answer format paired with Scripture memory which will help deepen our kids' knowledge of the Bible and the Gospel. Kids4Truth is systematic theology for kids that teaches Bible doctrine and apologetics for kids! In addition, this structure will help guide the teachers and volunteers each week.
