First Students Ministry

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

“Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship.” ~The Apostle Paul
(Romans 12:1)

What’s Up Wednesdays
This is a time of sharing with our students about What’s Up in God’s Word. We start out with some games and then spend time looking at what God has to say regarding our students’ current cultural context and their call to “make disciples of the nations.” If you have students in 6th-12th grades, we would like to invite them to join us around 6pm in the Christian Life Center for What’s Up Wednesday. We officially start at 6:30pm and end at 7:30pm.

Sunday School
On Sunday mornings, our café in the downstairs Alive Youth area opens up at 9:00am for students—and leaders—to have some coffee, smoothies, or lattes, while enjoying a time of fellowship. Around 9:25am, we have a large group introduction with our student pastor and then students are broken up into 4 different classes (6th, 7th-8th, 9th-11th, 12th grades). In this time, students have an opportunity to participate in a focused time of study with other students their age.

Alive @ 5
Alive @ 5 is our time to train our high school students in Christian leadership (L.E.A.D seminar—5:00pm-6:00pm), let our middle school students engage in a time of fellowship (5:00pm-6:00pm), and then bring our middle school and high school students together for a time of accountability and encouragement. We use our time from 6:00pm to 7:00pm to challenge—and equip—Alive Youth students for the week ahead of them and their task of “making disciples of the nations.”
