Made For More

Introducing Two Sunday Services

We believe God is doing something incredible at First Baptist Church of Summerfield, and we are making room for what God is doing here. Starting August 17, 2025, we’re expanding to two Sunday morning services (9:00am and 10:45am) so we can provide more space for more people to experience what God is doing right now at First Baptist. This exciting step is more than a schedule change. It’s a bold step of faith because we are convinced that we are
Made for More.

New Sunday Service Times Begin August 17

Beginning August 17, you can join us for worship at either 9:00am or 10:45am. Both services will offer the same message, the same music, and the same opportunity to encounter Jesus – just at different times.

We are making this change to open more space for individuals and families in our community. Our heart is to ensure that everyone has a seat, everyone feels welcome, and everyone has the chance to hear the good news of the Gospel and to grow in Christ. Want to visit for the first time? We’d love to meet you.

What "Made for More" Means

God’s mission for His Church is never small. At First Baptist Church Summerfield, we are embracing a bigger vision together. Here’s what Made for More means to us.

More People to Reach

Summerfield and the surrounding areas are growing fast, and we believe God has placed us here for a reason. Every new neighbor is someone who needs to know the hope of Jesus. Two services mean more opportunities for our guests to hear the Gospel and experience the love of a church that truly cares.
We were made to reach more.

More Disciples to Make

Our mission is clear: to make disciples of all generations. Whether it’s kids learning God’s Word for the first time, students asking deep questions, or adults growing in biblical truth, we are committed to spiritual growth at every age and stage.
Two service times allow us to offer even more discipleship opportunities through Sunday School
We were made to multiply disciples.

More Community to Create

We are better together. Our church family is a beautiful mix of generations and backgrounds, all united in Christ. As we expand our services, we’re creating more ways for people to belong, to connect, to build relationships, and to do life with others.
More seats, more connections, more shared stories.
We were made for real community.

More Opportunities to Serve

With more people comes more purpose. From greeting at the door to serving in the kids’ ministry or running tech in the back, there’s a place for everyone to serve. This isn’t just about filling roles. It’s about stepping into your calling and using your gifts to build the body of Christ. You were made to serve, and now there are more ways than ever to do it.
We were made to serve.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

If this is your first time at a church or your first time with us, here's what you can expect:
  • A warm welcome from our greeters and volunteers
  • A blended worship service with hymns and modern worship songs
  • Bible-based preaching that presents the truths of Scripture with life application
  • Friendly faces in a multigenerational environment
  • A relaxed dress code—anything from jeans to suits is perfectly fine (We can come to Jesus how we are, so why come to church any other way?)

Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and encouraged as you explore what God has in store for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is FBC Summerfield moving to two services?
God is growing our church, and we want to create more space for everyone who walks through our doors. This is a step of faith to make room for more people to encounter Jesus. Adding a second service allows us to reach more people, make more disciples, create more community, and have more opportunities to serve.
Will both services be the same?
Yes. The 9:00am and 10:45am services will offer the same worship experience. We will offer the same music and the same message for both worship services. Choose the time that works best for you and your family. If you are ready to explore the church, plan your visit today.
Will there still be Sunday School?
Absolutely. Sunday School will continue and be offered in a way that fits with both service times. If you are already enrolled in a Sunday School, please check with your group leader about details. If you are looking to get connected and join a Sunday School Class, contact us to get plugged in.
Is children’s ministry available at both services?
Yes! Our kids ministry will be available during both services so families can choose whichever time fits best.

All kids attending the 9am service will participate in kids Sunday School. Kids K-5th grade who attend the 10:45am service will particpate in Kids Church. Preschoolers meet separately.

A nursery will be provided for both services.
How can I serve or get involved?
We’d love for you to be part of what God is doing here. Please fill out our Connect Card to learn more about volunteer opportunities or stop by the Welcome Center on Sunday to find your fit.
